Aroma di Amore was one of Belgium's finest alternative new wave bands of the 80's. Their peculiar blend of raw guitars, electronic rhythms, dutch lyrics and unconventional song structures was far ahead of the music taste of that time. Built around the nucleus of singer Elvis Peeters and guitarplayer Fred Angst, they hit the scenes of Western Europe from 1982 till they finally split up in 1994. They released 2 full albums (Harde Feiten-1986; Koudvuur-1987) and a lot of 12" vinyls. A cd-compilation, Radikal, was released in 1993. Nowadays these records are much sought-after collector's items.
